What to expect
You will visit the European and Asian parts of Istanbul, climb hills with luxurious views, take a ferry ride along the Bosphorus and decipher the architecture of majestic mosques.
I will talk about the local culture, history, traditions and help you understand what distinguishes Istanbul from other megacities of the world. We will pass through the most interesting and picturesque places of Istanbul.
The tour program:
Pierre Loti Hill is one of the most popular areas of Istanbul among travelers, famous for its observation deck, to which you will be taken by transparent cable car cabins.
From the hill you will open a truly fascinating view: the waters of the Bosphorus, large ships, colorful fishing boats and endless expanses of the city. Taksim Square – located in the European part of Istanbul, between the Golden Horn Bay and the Bosphorus Strait, it will impress you with the architecture of the XIX century, ancient trams, antique shops, cozy cafes and shops of famous brands. Galata Tower is one of the most striking sights of Istanbul.
You will hear when and by whom it was erected, and, if desired, climb to the observation deck with magnificent views of the city and the surrounding area.
Chamlydzha Mosque – you will learn who laid its first stone, and you will be impressed with how organically the architects managed to combine classical and modern elements in the construction of the mosque. The observation deck on Chamlydzha Hill is a great opportunity to view Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower, mosques, fortresses and waters of the Bosphorus from a height. Kadykei district is one of the oldest in Istanbul. We'll use the ferry to get to him.
In Kadykei you will get to the real Istanbul: without crowds of tourists and sellers imposing everything. Here you will be surrounded by local people who are not in a hurry, watching whom is a pleasure.
