Tajikistan is the land of the highest mountain peaks, giant glaciers, turbulent rivers and unique in its beauty lakes, rare animals; it has huge tourist resources, most of which are still untouched by man.

93% of the country is made up of mountains with a height of 7.6 thousand meters from sea level (the highest point in Europe and the CIS) – it is not only spectacular views, but also one of the most difficult hunting areas in the world. Constant winds and low temperatures add to the thrill. To get the desired trophy in such conditions is only possible for real men. Hunting takes place at an altitude of 4200 - 5000 meters.

Baran Marco Polo, aka argali, aka argali, is considered the largest representative of the mountain sheep family. The height at the withers of adult males exceeds the mark of 100 centimeters, and the weight can reach 180 kilograms.The horns are twisted in a spiral with ends outward and upwards and represent the most spectacular trophy of all the subspecies of sheep. In cross section, the horns are triangular, with a sharp frontal-occipital edge. The longest horns were recorded in 1895, the length of the horn was 190.5 cm. However, this type of horns are quite narrow, in girth reach only 43 cm in record trophies, and on average up to 36-39 cm.
