Did all this happen here? – the creation of the first man – Adam; – the first sacrifice to God; – the sacrifices of Cain and Abel; – Noah first set foot on the earth after the flood in this place; – Abraham wanted to sacrifice his son Isaac here to God; – Solomon built on this place the First Jewish Temple; – 70 years after the destruction of the First Temple on this place was built the Second Jewish Temple. All these events are described in the Old Testament. They seem like a fairy tale until you reach the top of the Temple Mount. And I think there's only one thought in my head: yes, it was really here. For Muslims around the world, the Temple Mount is the third most important of all the shrines of Islam.According to the Quran, from the top of the Temple Mount, the Prophet Muhammad ascended into the sky on a winged horse, and it is on this place that the Dome now rises above the Rock. The possession of the Temple Mount is one of the causes of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Church of Christ (the second name) seeks, in accordance with biblical prophecy, to help Jews return to the Land of Israel and reminds Christians of their spiritual duty to the Jewish people. A very unusual church in which the Christian faith is firmly intertwined with Judaism. It's built in the image of a synagogue.Instead of an altar, a wooden cabinet was built to store the holy books.
