Walking through these streets, famous for its facades of ancient houses with wooden frame walls, you will get acquainted with truly architectural treasures: with outlandish Gothic buildings such as the main Rouen Cathedral of Notre Dame, the monastery church of St. Uen (where trials were once held over Joan of Arc), St. Macloux Church, the Palace of Justice, with real Renaissance pearls: the Great Tower Clock, the Atrium of St. Macloux or the Burgteruld Hotel...

During this impressive walk, you will undoubtedly meet such famous characters as Richard the Lionheart, Joan of Arc, Pierre Cornel, Gustave Flaubert. You will see the unique Rouen Cathedral, which is captured on the canvases of the famous impressionist Claude Monet. Walk down the very first pedestrian street in all of Europe and see the smallest streets of the Middle Ages, where Rouen will open its doors and its heart!
