During this tour you will drive through the old streets of the city, past the city park, the Ketchikan Creek, the home of the famous courtesan of the time of the gold rush, now turned into a museum and the infamous trail of a married man. You will see picturesque houses built on stilts above a mountain stream, where from July to September you can see salmon in abundance, coming here to spawn. At this time, locals are fishing directly from the city bridge.

On the picturesque Tongass highway you will go to the national Tlingit village and the Saxman totem park, which for 200 years preserves the history of the 5 main clans of local Indians. The guide will tell you about the process of creating totems and what they mean. You will have the opportunity to get out of the car, walk through the park and take a photo.

You will also get acquainted with the wildlife. From Saxman, you will go to the place where you can see bears most often. Bears are almost guaranteed from June to August. On the way you will also see bald eagles and possibly deer.

After watching the bears, you will head to the charming George Inlet Lodge for a crab feast.Your feast will begin with a tasting of Alaskan Amber and a snack in the form of smoked salmon. You will then be served a light vegetable salad at a home gas station. The main dish is, of course, the famous Alaskan Dangenes crabs. Steamed crabs are served with a garnish of potatoes. Enjoy this Alaskan delicacy, but don't forget to leave room for a signature dessert. Alaskan blueberry cheesecake will be the perfect end to your feast!
