These images appeared thanks to the pen of the first American writer - Washington Irving. He lived north of New York in a small Dutch settlement, which he described in his works and which was later renamed, quite officially, Sleepy Hollow. In this pleasant town on the Hudson just an hour from central Manhattan, we invite you to go with our one-day individual tour!

In addition to the preserved places from the time of Irving (his house, the cemetery of Sleepy Hollow, where in addition to the writer there are many important people for America, including Carnegie Delhi and Walter Chrysler, the Dutch church of the XVII century, the famous bridge on which the same Rider-without-head galloped) in the district there is a lot of interesting things! For example, the Rockefeller Manor, which still partially occupies the area, but allows tours of the grounds and some buildings, including the main house. There, near Pocantico Hills, is their family church, the most beautiful stained glass windows of which belong to the hand of masters of European painting - Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse.

We invite you to visit the home of the early Americans (the influential Van Cortland family) and assess their life in the first years after the war of independence from the British. We will also try to guess the date and time so that if you want, you can get to one of the many events in the region, for example, costume readings from Irving or the famous Hellovine Dawn.
