About this offer

What to expect

Milwaukee is the largest city in Wisconsin, located on the shores of Lake Michigan 130 km north of Chicago.

It is the “brewing capital of America” and home to the legendary Harley Davidson motorcycles.

During the tour you will see the Cathedral of St. Joseph, in architecture reminiscent of St. Peter’s Cathedral in the Vatican; the Gothic Chapel of Joan of Arc, built in the XV century, transported from France and re-installed in the city; then visit the Pabst Mansion, built in the Renaissance style and owned by the former beer king; and also - the factory, producing famous motorcycles from the beginning of the twentieth century. Next, you will admire the beautiful coast of Lake Michigan and see the building of the Art Museum (Milwaukee Art Museum), built by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and shaped like a bird in flight.

You will also see the Milwaukee River promenade, where there are many restaurants with small private breweries and you can stop for lunch in one of them.

Optionally, the tour can include: a visit to the Miller brewery with a beer tasting; a walk along the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan (possibly with dinner); a tour of the Mitchell Park greenhouse (3 huge glass domes, where plants from various natural areas are presented).
