Boston is the largest city in New England, the birthplace of the American Revolution and the anti-slavery movement. During the tour you will visit the old areas of the city: Beacon Hill and North End, along which the famous Freedom Trail passes, elegant Back Bay with the Place of the Drop and a masterpiece of American architecture Trinity Church, the Christian Science complex and the famous Symphony Hall. On the other side of the Charles River, in Cambridge, are two of the country’s most prestigious educational institutions: the oldest in America, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Cambridge was the home of Henry Longfellow and Vladimir Nabokov.

The Art Museum, known for one of the finest collections of impressionists in America, has the largest collection of Claude Monet outside France.

Isabella Gardner Museum, a 15th-century Italian castle moved by philanthropist Isabella Gardner to Boston in the late 19th century. It is left to the city as a museum with a collection of paintings and applied arts.

Harvard University museums, including the Natural History Museum, have a unique collection of glass flowers.
