Day 1. Flight to Munich

Day 2. Arrival in Munich.

Check in at a hotel in the city center, and after a rest, a walking tour of Munich, during which the guide will introduce us to the history of the Middle Ages, the birth and flourishing of one of the greatest centers of culture in Europe. We will see the main attractions of Munich and Bavaria: The famous Karlsplatz Square (Stachus) and the Karlstor Gate, St. Michael's Cathedral, St. Peter's Cathedral, the Old Courtyard - the medieval residence of the Bavarian kings. After the tour, a place for dinner with the famous German beer will be recommended.

Day 3 Bavaria.

We will visit Neuschwanstein Castles - a true fantasy of the king, a fairy-tale castle that raised its turrets and galleries above Lake Alpsea and wooded hills in the Bavarian Alps, and Hohenschwangau - an architectural masterpiece, at one time a favorite residence of Bavarian kings. If you look at Hohenschwangau from a bird's eye view, it seems that the castle grew up in the middle of a dense forest, and there is no path to it.

After lunch we will stop in Oberammergau, a charming town famous for its painted houses.Their walls are painted with plots from German fairy tales, Bibles, scenes of knightly feasts and peasant life. We'll be back at the hotel by evening.

Day 4. The Eagle's Nest is Hitler's residence. Salzburg.

The Eagle’s Nest is called the eighth wonder of the world, offering a fascinating view of the very beautiful and incredibly romantic Royal Lake Königsee (Bavaria). The panorama from a height of 1834 meters is simply indescribable! The construction was under Bormann’s direction and took about 13 months, and the cost of the project amounted to 30 million Reichsmarks, or 12 million US dollars, which is a huge amount at that time! The Eagle's Nest was given to Hitler for his 50th birthday in 1939 as the Tea House.

Then, after a dizzying descent down, we can dissolve in the enchanting rest of Lake Königsee - the cleanest lake in Germany. There are also many restaurants where you can have a delicious lunch. Finally, we will continue our journey towards Salzburg and arrive there before dark to stay in a hotel in the city center.After checking in at the hotel, we will have free time for the first acquaintance with this wonderful Austrian city, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born and worked, a reminder of which is everywhere.

Day 5. Salzburg.

We will walk along the street Getraidegasse, see the Fortress of Hohensalzburg, the Fortress Museum and the Nonnberg Monastery. We will also see the Mozart House, Mozarteum, Salzburg Landesteatre, as well as the luxurious 17th-century Mirabelgarten Park, the Baroque Museum and the Dwarf Garden. In the old part of the city we will enjoy the views of the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Residence, the Residence Brunnen Fountain and the University Church. After lunch we will take a bus to Vienna to board our river boat and start our breathtaking journey along the Danube. Dinner on the ship.

Day 6. Vienna.

Immediately after breakfast on the ship bus and walking tour of Vienna and its famous ring.We will get acquainted with all the main attractions of the capital: the central square with St. Stefan’s Cathedral, the Vienna Opera House, the Academy of Fine Arts, the architectural complex of the former Habsburg winter residence – Hofburg, the Austrian Parliament and the City Hall, the University, the Drama Theater and the Exchange building. We will walk through the narrow old streets of Vienna and show the famous clock "Anker Uhr". We will hear stories about the life of the Emperor and his beautiful wife, as well as the story of the creation of the famous cake Sacher.

After the tour - free time in the center of Vienna. Lunch will be a dry ration (but try the famous Vienna sausages with cheese for lunch), and after lunch we will go to the Vienna Schönbrunn Palace. We will visit the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, as well as the state halls of the palace, decorated in the Rococo style. During the visit to the 22 halls, you will be able to enjoy the luxurious splendor of the Grand Gallery, the oriental charm of the Chinese Salons, as well as the amazingly modest decorations in the personal bedroom of Emperor Franz Josef.

Day 7. durnstein

A city located on the banks of the Danube in lower Austria, the town of Dürnstein is one of the most visited wine regions in the Wachau Valley. After breakfast we will go on a walking tour to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, terraced vineyards, traditional architecture. In addition, one of the main attractions of the settlement will be the Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The tower of this church is one of the most beautiful baroque towers in all of Austria. We will also see the ruins of Künringer Castle, where Richard the Lionheart was held captive. The castle was located on the top of a hill overlooking Durnstein. Walking through the village, we will walk through cobbled streets with colorful forged signs and floral arrangements and built-up picturesque houses of the 16th century. The tour will end with a tasting of local wine or liquor.

Day 8. Arrival in Linz.

After breakfast on the ship we will go on a walking tour to the Austrian city of Linz. One of the main attractions of Linz is the ancient castle of the 13th century, which is now a Historical Museum.No less interesting to us will seem the Cathedral of the 17th century, a true example of the Baroque style, and Landhouse Castle - a luxurious architectural monument of the 16th century, a visual embodiment of Renaissance styles. The attraction of the later period is the New Cathedral, founded in the middle of the 19th century. It is compared to the famous St. Stephen’s Cathedral, located in Vienna. In its beauty and luxurious design, the Linz Cathedral is not inferior to its Viennese predecessor. After enjoying spiritual food, we will remember the material and return to the ship by dinner.

Day 9. Arrive in Bratislava.

After breakfast on the ship we will go on a walking tour of Bratislava, which will allow us to touch the most different periods of the city's history, feel the grandeur of the St. Martin's Cathedral, known as the coronation Cathedral of Hungarian kings, see the Opera House, where Chaliapin and Obraztsova sang, the main square with the wonderful fountain "Roland", the Old Town Hall, the church and the monastery of the Franciscans - the oldest church in Bratislava (XIII century), walk through the labyrinth of narrow streets of the capital, where the most famous "bronze" are the most popular places of the city.

Day 10. Budapest.

After breakfast on the ship we will go on a bus and walking tour of the city, or rather, in the cities. During the tour we will first visit BUDU: the Royal Palace in the Baroque style - from the 300-meter facade of which offers a beautiful view of the Danube, the church of Matthias in the Gothic style, where the rulers of Hungary received the crown of St. Stephen, the Fisherman's Bastion, where recently the remains of the Roman fortress wall and towers were discovered.We will also visit Mount Gellert, where the Hungarian Statue of Liberty stands, and from where there is a magnificent view of Budapest. In our free time we will have the opportunity to visit the famous Budapest market.

After lunch we will continue to explore the city, now with Pest, and see Parliament - a giant neo-Gothic structure with turrets, arrows, arcades and galleries and many more interesting things. In our spare time we will have the opportunity to visit the largest synagogue in Europe and walk along the pedestrian street of Vaci. The ship is in Budapest almost all night.

Day 11. estergom

After breakfast on the ship we will visit Esztergom, one of the oldest cities in Hungary, which has long been a major political, economic and cultural center of the country, and now is the residence of the Archbishop, bearing the title of Primate of Hungary. We will visit the Basilica of St. Adalbert, the largest Catholic church in the country. The temple is built on the very place where in the 11th century King St. Stephen erected the first Christian church in all of Hungary. The church burned several times, was destroyed, was built anew in the 14th century, but was again destroyed by the Turks. The present Basilica was built in the 19th century.It is located on the high bank of the Danube and from its observation deck offers a breathtaking view of the city and the river valley. From the observation deck we will clearly see the 500-meter-high Bridge of Maria Valeria, connecting two countries - Hungary and Slovakia, or rather, two sister cities of Esztergom and Sturovo. After the tour, we will return to the banks of the Danube to try the real Hungarian palinka, which we will learn about the day before in Budapest.

Day 12. Arrival in Vienna.

After breakfast transfer to Vienna airport. Return home with a baggage of pleasant experiences.
