Along the way - interesting information on the history and sights of the states through which the route to the US capital runs: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

The road itself, its structure and functioning, and engineering solutions are interesting and picturesque: transport interchanges, bridges, tunnels, including the famous tunnel running along the bottom of Chesapeake Bay.

Upon arrival in Washington, begin a sightseeing tour of the city. We stop at the most famous buildings of the capital. The majestic Capitol is the seat of the US Congress and the architectural complex of Capitol Hill with the Library of Congress. The White House is the residence of the President of the country with surrounding monuments and avenues. Embassy Road - Embassy Row, where foreign embassies are located.

Washington is especially handsome in evening dress. In the evening, excursion “Washington in the evening lights.” The Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Korean and Vietnam Memorials are artfully illuminated. The spire of the George Washington Memorial reflected in the water is an unforgettable sight. It is very interesting to visit the Arlington Memorial Cemetery, watch the solemn ceremony of changing the guard of honor at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, visit the grave of President Kennedy, and examine the monuments and memorials on the territory of the cemetery.

An acquaintance with Washington would not be complete without getting acquainted with the main museums - the unique collections of the National Art Gallery and the Space Museum - the most visited museum in the world.

Tourists are given free time to spend on the Capitoline Mole (Prospect) - the main avenue of the city.

It is possible to visit the Holocaust Memorial and other museums conveniently located in the city center. Return to New York.
