Some info: Sugar Mountain is the largest ski area in North Carolina by about 20 acres (total of 115 acres of skiable terrain). The lodge at the base of the mountain offers ski and snowboard rentals, cafeterias, a lounge, a sports shop, a locker room and a gift shop, daycare. Sugar also offers snowshoeing (unique to the area), a snowboarding park that is closed to skiers, ice-skating, and a 700-foot-long tubing park that is fun for the whole family! Sugar Mountain also boasts the largest vertical drop (1200 feet) in the state. Peak elevation 5300ft, snowmaking capability – 100%.

Accommodation:

1. Townhomes at the bottom of the slopes.

Sleeps 4 - $870. One bedroom condo with one and a half baths with 2 queen beds.

Sleeps 6 – $1100. This 2 bedroom condo has a king bed upstairs in the master bedroom, two twins in the downstairs main floor guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. With amenities like a gas log fireplace, full kitchen and a four-person whirlpool soaking tub.

2. One of the newest condominium complexes on Sugar Mountain. Townhomes at the top of the mountain with a great view of the mountains. Walk to the ski slopes.

Sleeps 4 – $1180 – The 2 bedroom property has a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen in the guest bedroom.

Sleeps 6 – $1290. This 2 bedroom + loft property comfortably sleeps six with a king bed in the master suite, a queen in the guest bedroom and additional beds in the private loft.

3. 4 Bedrooms, 4 baths Townhome at the bottom of the slopes. 3 level condo with view of golf course and lake.
