Love is everywhere, in all its manifestations ...

So, why did our choice fall on Lecco, you ask?

The answer is as always very simple.

Lecco is attractive primarily because it is both a city in the Alps and a city on the lake.

It was Lecco who inspired the famous writer Alessandro Manzoni to write the most read and included in the school program of the novel "The Betrothed" - I Promessi Sposi.

He, like no other, was able to combine in one novel and the incredible beauty of the Alpine landscapes, and the hardships of everyday life, and the passion and love between the two young people, and the struggle for this love. Fortunately, all with a happy ending!

From imagination to reality, we will reproduce the love story of Lucia and Renzo after seeing the places where these events unfolded, we will take a step back in time, leaving the place for the coming emotions.

But this is only an insignificant part of our trip, because Lecco is a fantastically picturesque town where we make leisurely promenades, we will admire architectural masterpieces with a century-old history, and there really is something to admire here.

That only there is a golden statue of St. Nicholas in the middle of the lake, which, by the way, is the patron of Lecco, the most beautiful Cathedral of St. Nicholas, built in the Romanesque style and the bell tower of Pencil (as the locals call it), which is visible from all corners of Lecco ...

But what is it like to see everything from a completely different angle?

Our boat is waiting for us! A magical walk along the lake will allow us to expand the boundaries of what we saw, the famous four bridges, the fabulous Malgrat, the fishing village of Pescarenico and much more.

But the "apogee" of our journey will be the road to heaven!

We will rise to a mark of 1300 meters above sea level to the peak of Piani d'Erna. Here it is, a breathtaking and breathtaking panorama, majestic and impressive - all as in the palm of your hand! Lecco and the nearby mountains, Brianza with its lakes, the Alpine foothills of Como and Bergamo, the Alpes from Monviso to the Reticeti, almost disappearing behind the Padanskaya Plain of the Apennines.
