The Promenade offers a breathtaking view of Manhattan. Every July 4, during the fireworks for Independence Day, the Promenade is visited by crowds of tourists. The area features several styles of architecture, including early nineteenth-century federal houses in the northern part, pseudo-Greek and pseudo-Gothic houses, and Italian-style brownstone houses. Several houses on Pierpoint Street and Pierpoint Lane are real estates. Brooklyn Heights became the first neighborhood in Brooklyn, whose houses were protected by the New York City Architectural Monuments Conservation Act in 1965.

Special attention is paid to the Brooklyn neighborhood, which is located in the south directly on the ocean coast - Brighton Beach. The area has gained fame since the mid-1970s as a place of compact residence for immigrants from the former Soviet Union, mainly from Ukraine and Russia. Everything here looks like it was in Russia before perestroika. For those who want to plunge into the past – a tour of Brighton Beach is a great opportunity to visit it.
